Advertising across the API Evangelist network
Laneworks Ads is the self-hosted ad network behind the banner at the top of API Evangelist, APIs.io, API Commons and its tools, APIs.json, Kin Lane, and Alternate Kin Lane.
One format, honestly measured: a single 970×120 leaderboard below the top navigation of every page. Every impression and click-through is counted by our own API and published publicly — no third-party trackers, no cookies, no auction.

The first inventory is house creative — every API Evangelist paper and first-party service. Outside placements are open: your banner runs in the same rotation, on the same terms, with the same public numbers.
- Formats — 970×120 leaderboard, 300×250 rectangle, and a text announcement strip (PNGs at 2× preferred). We can also produce on-brand creative for you.
- Placements — leaderboards below the top navigation and at the end of content, rectangles in the sidebar, strips above the navigation, and a slot in the weekly newsletter — across the whole network.
- Measurement — impressions, clicks, and CTR (per domain and per slot) published on the inventory page and via the API.

Client domains can join the network and serve the same rotation. Add the embed below your top navigation, then ask to have your domain allowlisted — the API only answers domains in the network.
